Netta Weiser

Netta Weiser works at the intersection of choreography, experimental radio and discursive practice. Her works have been presented internationally in venues such as the Akademie der Künste, TanzquartierWien, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, WDR, The Israeli Centre for Digital Art, Villa Medici Rome among others. In 2019 she established Radio-Choreography – a long-term artistic research project exploring dance documentation through sound and the relations between muted histories and live broadcasting. In 2020 she was awarded the Tanzrecherche NRW stipendium for international artists and in 2021 she was a fellow at the Studio for Electroacoustic Music at the Akademie der Künste. Moreover, Weiser regularly teaches at the Klangzeitort Institute for New Music and at the Universität der Künste Berlin. She holds long-term collaborations with Vierte Welt and reboot.fm. In 2024 she will showcase her first solo exhibition at the Badischer Kunstverein in Karlsruhe.
